MT's writing always makes me want to visit the places he's conjured. Lovely poem, Mikal.

Oh Dear, nice poem but such bad science, was the writer after a Guardian award?
A planet is vaste and has different weather in different zones. It never rains on "Mungo" it rains in one corner and is in drought at another.

True, true--I will lay the blame firmly at the feet of my Poetic License (renewed 17 January 05)...
And it'd be really awkward to write "In the lower Southern quadrant of Tarsus/somewhere west-southwest of the Tragg peninsula/in an area ringed by a small cluster of coral islands/it rains..." etc.
Heh.

Well, he'd be writing from beyond the grave, which would be quite a feat...heh.
