Looking forward to reading the new Kate Bachus story (I loved her 'Mrs Parker Down the Bung' (sorry if title wrong) story.)
However, when I load it there are no illustrations by Mats Holmgren?

Hmm. The illustrations should be there; they show up in my browsers. (Note that unlike our usual practice, we didn't put an illustration at the end of the story; this time there are three illos, spread throughout the story.) The first thing I'd recommend trying is this: go to the page with the story, hold down the Shift key on your keyboard, and click the Reload or Refresh button in your browser.
If that doesn't work, let us know what browser and operating system you're using. Also, can you see the illustrations and images in our other pieces? For example, can you see the book cover in this week's review?
If all else fails, you can view the large-size versions of the illos directly: 1, 2, 3.

Interesting. Still can't see the pictures when viewing the story, even when holding down shift and reloading. Never had any problems before: yes, I can see the book cover okay ... oh and thankyou, I have seen the pictures now by following the individual links.
I'm on a PC, operating Windows XP (with Service Pack 2), Internet Explorer version 6.0.2900 (also SP2).
No big deal, I've seen the pics now, and at least I've always been able to read the story, which I've downloaded to a PPC and am looking forward reading tonight when I finally get to bed - lots of work to do in the meantime though :(
