I thought this was delightful. To the author - how do you go about writing something like this? Start with a plan or just start the board and see where it goes?? Thanks

Funny and clever. I liked how the author managed to weave an entire plot into it (it wasn't just a vignette.)

Thanks, Matt! This story was inspired by Craigslist - if you get a chance, check out the the "best of Craigslist personal ads" - I think it is absolutely hysterical.
I started out with a lot of random postings and just worked and worked with it until a story started to form around the postings - it did take a an awful lot of tweaking to make it seem like a real bulletin board but also contain a story.

I read the story again today. I love the way so much information is contained within a few short lines of each post. Like Chekhov said, it's better to say too little than too much. Not that this is too little - just that what is not said is massively expressive. I like stories that make the imagination work.
