I was searching for information on sex-selective abortion when I found this story. The implications of advance in genetical research towards having a baby (or not) is deep and sometimes disturbing.
Like the title of your story, there are all kinds of reasons for making the choice of pregnancy and abortion. Possibilities and chances are scary, but does having choices and knowledge make things any better?
Above all, thank you for this story because it made me heartsick. No one is perfect, and perhaps that's a good thing.
