Evocative, poetic.
In fact, I thought that it could be a poem - the salient points came out in a lovely rhythm through the story.
I liked the title, too, with its message that there will eventually be a living child, Paphos, born to Pygmalion and Galatea.

Beautiful. The first few lines made me think of a variety of childrens diseases. The next few lines convinced me that those ailments that we are prone to are nothing compared to those that can be conjured up by the human mind.

I actually had to look in my old book of mythology to fully appreciate this story. Very evocative. I loved it, another great one from my little sister.
