I've been a bit off with SH lately, but in my opinion (and I don't care if anybody disagrees with me, go jump) this story redeems SH. It's one of the best stories I've read on Strange Horizons in a long time. Wanted the story to go on a bit longer when it ended, which is certainly a good sign.

That is one excellent story. I don't read much online fiction, but if this is representative of what's out there, my habits just might change...

Gimmicky or left field enough to catch my eye. Solid enough to make one care about the characters. Complex enough to make the reader wok a bit.
I like it!
