This was a really lovely story, funny and structurally interesting, and the prose so lively as well. Very nice emotional resonance too. Thanks for publishing it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It reminded me of a similar story I started writing years ago which I left unfinished after Rapunzel shaved all her hair off.

Thanks to everyone for your generous comments! I had played with the Rapunzel story in a variety of ways over several years before it took the form you see here. I'm so glad the story resonated for some folks.
I especially loved the comment "I wish it were longer." This is what a writer always wants to hear!! [grin]
