Thanks for the good words and mention of my MOPED ARMY graphic novel in your article. All good points, and great company to be mentioned with. I love TRANSMET and all the crazy stuff Warren Ellis bleeds out of his eyeballs.

I like all the bits you mention about how my story works. I tossed it into the future to distance it from the real world Moped Army, but I would agree that stripping away the future setting doesn't really affect the story. More often than not, I've dropped my stories into the future to get away with not having to make cars look like they really do. OK, it's a dodge! I admit it. I've removed that crutch with my latest book, "BPM", about a young female DJ working in New York City.
