I confess that my husband (doctoral student in astrophysics) and I (er, sf writer by way of math?) were yelling at the screen for the pilot of Threshold. In fact, what made it bearable was the fact that we were bitching to each other. We were sufficiently put off not to follow it any longer. Which is sad--really, I'd've stuck around for a few more episodes out of curiosity, because I do realize things have to hit their stride, but dear Lord, if the math and science got any worse...no. no. no. no. no.
