Who cares?

I don't see how this article -- or its references -- are relevant. Superheroes are the worst, most escapist kind of fantasy. They alienate most people and distract the rest of us from... what? I forget. I grew out of superhero comic books and Schlitz when I was a teenager. I've come to expect something more from SH. Something more relevant, more mature. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I have nothing in common with SH readers...
