A very nice article here, a rarity in how well it spotlights the individual. Worth reading and I'm glad you presented it.

I enjoyed the profile on Kornblut
I have always had a special place in my heart for 'Gladiator-at-Law' since I read it in high school in the 1960's.
Talk about dumb & dangerous Reality TV shows, computerized stock market trading, credit card and real estate scams, corporate raiders, younger and younger teen violence & gangs, the list goes on, still very relevant today!
I noticed the tv commercials and news satire in the first couple of 'ROBOCOP' movies borrowed heavily from Pohl & Kornbluth..... "I'd buy THAT for a quarter!".
Next time you stop by a Starbuck's for a really expensive cup of designer coffee, remember: "The alkaloids in COFFIEST (TM) are guaranteed non-habit forming!"
Yeah, right....Thanks Again, -- George M. Ewing

Yes, Kornbluth was unusually prophetic. He etched out great segments of the world we now live in, considerably in advance.

This article intrigued me enough to get me to buy a copy of Kornbluth's short stories. I am emjoying them a lot, especially because they are quite original and unpredictable.
