Stats: August submission count

Oops, I neglected to post about this a couple weeks ago.
In August 2010, we received 325 valid submissions during the 21 days when we were open to subs, an average of just under 15 and a half submissions a day.
That's about the same as the just-over-15 subs a day we received in August 2009.
Which means volume continues to hold remarkably steady, after years of growth. I'm pleased; if the growth we saw over the past few years had continued much longer, we would have had a hard time keeping it up with it.
We're going to have a volume spike now, of course, because we're reopening after almost three weeks of being closed. But I suspect we'll drop back down to 15 a days after the spike ends.
