Stats: Final January submission count
By Jed Hartman

We ended the month with 780 valid submissions, an average of a little over 25 submissions a day.
Our previous highest-volume month was January of 2009, with 637 submissions. So despite the submission cap, volume went up by over 20%.
All four full seven-day weeks in January were among our top eight highest-volume weeks ever; volume ranged from 142 to 201 submissions in each of those four weeks.
Normal volume last year was around 450 submissions a month, about 15 a day.
