Stats: January submission count so far

Here at the end of the third full week of submissions, we've received a total of 605 submissions so far this year.
(The first two full weeks—January 3–9 and January 10–16—were our highest-volume weeks ever, at 201 and 185 submissions, respectively.)
The initial post-reopening flood has slowed a bit; this past week, the daily submission limit hasn't kicked in at all. We've received an average of about 20 subs a day. (In most months we've been averaging about 15 subs a day lately.) That makes this past week "only" the seventh-highest-volume week we've ever had.
Still, sometime in the next few days, this January will become our highest-volume month ever. I'm guessing we'll end up with around 750 submissions total this month, where normal volume is about 450 a month, and our previous highest-volume month (January 2009) had 637.
Note: This entry is not intended to scare anyone into not submitting. I know how easy it is to talk oneself out of submitting a story, and I don't mean this to provide a reason to avoid submitting.
