Done responding to SH stories! 30 December 2011 As of a couple of hours ago, we in the SH fiction department have responded to every story ever submitted to us. So if you've ever sent us a story but haven't heard back from us, please query ASAP. And... Staying closed through January 15 December 2011 I'm sorry to say that the SH fiction department is going to stay closed to submissions through the month of January. We'll reopen on February 1. I know that's a long time for us to be closed. But we only... Annual winter closure impending 24 October 2011 As has been our tradition in recent years, we'll be closed to fiction submissions during the months of November and December. Sorry we were closed for so long. We had a big backlog and we were short-staffed for various reasons. But my colleagues have read an impressive number of stories in the past... 10 September 2011 We find ourselves short-staffed and several weeks behind on reading, so unfortunately we have to temporarily close to submissions again.
