The Thrilling Conclusion!

As someone has just noted in the comments on a previous entry, we did kind of disappear for a while at the end here. The explanation isn't nearly interesting enough to be worth taking your time, so instead I hope you'll accept my apology.
In the Strange Horizons 2009 Fund Drive, we raised a grand total of $13,184. Over 380 people donated, making this our most successful fund drive ever. (By quite a bit!) Thank you, again, to everyone who donated, and everyone who helped promote the fund drive.
We also have winners for our last two Blogger Incentive Prizes! Allen and Sarah Monette were the lucky winners of the Small Beer Press package, and Jennifer Hudock won the custom-written Jay Lake flash fiction. Congratulations!
Now that the fund drive is over, we'll get started on the gifts and prizes. If you donated, you should be getting a thank-you email sometime in the next couple of weeks. If you donated $50 or more, we'll be asking you about mug and t-shirt preferences, too. The fund drive prize drawing will also begin soon, which is always exciting. (For those of you who haven't been through this with us before, I should warn you: the prize drawing tends to take a while. I wouldn't be surprised if we're still working through the drawing six weeks from now, so you shouldn't be surprised either if it's early October and you're getting contacted about your choice of fabulous prizes.)
So thank you all for helping out! We're thrilled with how this all turned out, and now we can all get back to the business of publishing Strange Horizons. Hooray!
