So, about that fund drive goal.

Seriously, people, something crazy happened on Friday. John Scalzi said that he and his wife would match up to $500 in donations, and before the day was over, we'd raised more than ten thousand dollars. Ten thousand dollars! And the donations are still coming in, because you're all such wonderful people.
Obviously we've already met our fundraising goal for this fund drive. We're going to keep the fund drive going through the end of the month, though. These fund drives aren't just about money, they're also about our community, and I know that there are probably people out there who still want to be a part of this effort but haven't gotten around to it yet. If that describes you, then there's still time to pitch in! (And don't forget, donating to Strange Horizons makes you eligible to win one of our exciting fund drive prizes.)
I'll be posting later today with the winners of last week's blogger and twitter prizes, as well as some more information about what all of this amazing generosity means in terms of our overall funding. We'll also talk a bit over the next two weeks about some of the fund drive prizes, because a lot of great people donated a lot of great stuff, and it would be a shame if that stuff didn't get enough attention.
Thank you, again, to everyone who donated on Friday, and to everyone who's donated on other days as well. This experience has been a little overwhelming, in a very good way, and I'm so thrilled to be a part of this community. Thank you.

I've been trying to verify that you received my donation through networkforgood... Their disclaimer about "all donations go to us, and we pass them on to the target if we feel like it" were a little disconcerting.
I don't see any email address in Contacts for "General" or "donations" and I've tried Editor and Webmaster.

Hi! Sorry to not respond to your email more promptly. We did get your donation, thank you so much. (Network for Good is reputable, don't worry.)
