John Scalzi is matching donations!

The lovely and talented (and multiple-Hugo-winning) John Scalzi has made an incredibly generous offer for the Strange Horizons fund drive: John and his wife Kristine are matching any donations recieved today (Friday, 14 August), up to a cap of $500. Details of the offer, along with some very kind words about the magazine, can be found on John's website.
I think I can confidently speak on behalf of the entire staff of the magazine when I say that we're incredibly grateful for John and Kristine's generosity, and for the generosity of everyone who's taking the opportunity to donate. I'll update everyone tomorrow morning with the results of the Scalzi fund challenge.

Absolutely and totally awesome.
One other factoid... if your company has a donation match program, check it out. Since SH is an official non-profit, this allows your donation to be matched that way as well.
