Blogger Incentive Prizes Week Two!

Welcome to Week Two of the Strange Horizons fund drive! We have a bunch of exciting announcements to make in the next day or two, including the winners of some of our special bonus prizes, but first I'd like to tell you about this week's Blogger Incentive Prizes. Every week during the fund drive, we're running a special prize drawing for people who have helped us promote the drive by mentioning it (and linking to it) on their blogs or other websites. We'll be announcing the winner of the Week One prize soon, but in the meantime, here's the Week Two prize:
A Small Beer Press Prize Package
- Pretty Monsters: Stories by Kelly Link. An advance review copy of Kelly Link's new collection, Pretty Monsters, which comes out from Viking in October. The gorgeous cover is by Will Staehle and inside you'll find illustrations for each of the stories by genius artist Shaun Tan.
- The Ant King and Other Stories by Benjamin Rosenbaum. An advance review copy of Benjamin Rosenbaum's mind-bending debut collection, The Ant King and Other Stories, which will be published in August. This is a dazzling collection of pulp and surreal fictions (some of which were published on Strange Horizons!): a writer of alternate histories defends his patron's zeppelin against assassins and pirates; a woman transforms into hundreds of gumballs; an emancipated children's collective goes house hunting; an orange rules the world.
- The Best of Lady Churchill's Rosebud Wristlet. This book, published by Del Rey in August 2007, showcases the quirky, genre-bending, fabulously brilliant fiction and essays published in the critically-acclaimed zine Lady Churchill's Rosebud Wristlet. This volume is a perfect introduction to the "tiny but brilliant" magazine, edited by Small Beer Press publishers Gavin Grant and Kelly Link.
