I want to be sponsored by the London Caliphate's Irrationality Office!
Very cool stuff. I can't wait for the rest.

Excellent first half. I hope the second half holds up to this quality.

I wonder if it was just me...
I thought the first half was tremendous, amazing. And that the second half actually added very little value. I wasn't entirely sure what was going on, but got a sense that Sasha had failed in his mission. I'm not sure if this story would have lost anything by ending with Part 1. The uncertainty would have been very much in keeping with Hippolyta and the predicament of the plague.
Anyway, still an excellent story.

Funny you should put it that way, since it recalls the lines:
Quote:
That I exist is enough to prove the story false.
That Hippolyta exists is enough to prove the story true.
I am the flaw in the calculation, the hidden assumption that invalidates the proof.
That is why I am dying. To balance an equation.
I was going to post about the philosophy, the science, the cultures, the characters, the gender politics... but instead I'll just say that it was a real pleasure to enter this world for a few hours, and I feel richer for having visited the Planet of the Amazon Women. Let's have more from Mr. Moles! :)
